Decided to buy this as my 1st 3d printer, expecially looking at the price and at the community behind it. Assembling it is straightforward but take your time and check proper alignment of components with a 90 degrees ruler , in particular the vertical ones. In mine both were not perfectly cut and couldn't get a perfect 90 degrees junction with the 2 bars of the base. Problem is solved with some shims of aluminium foil. So now my z axis can be perfectly perpendicular to the base. There are also lots of videos on YouTube helping on the assembly. Mine purchased in December (UK warehouse) came with thermal runaway protection enabled.
