Initial set up was not very intuitive and the manual was not very helpful, but in the end I got it to work. It doesn't seem to have a motion detection mode where a video o photo is taken when someone walks in front of the doorbell. Also, it is not possible to see from the doorbell camera using the smart phone unless someone rings the bell (after a minute the doorbell goes into deep sleep mode to save battery and cannot be woken up from the phone, it wakes up only when someone rings the bell. But the video and audio quality is good and the app works well: it rings on my smart phone as soon as someone rings the bell, I see a snapshot of the person and I can decide whether to speak or not. For the price I think it is a great value.
