I purchased the tuneable version which is quite fun to play with, although some of the tuning options are quite unlistenable and some are redundant (or nearly so). Check out aftersound's squig for a pretty comprehensive list of graphs for the basic tuning options. I'm using the stock starline tips and KZ's copper-gold-silver cable, and my favorite tuning combination is DDDU DUDD. With that, the bass is full and nicely balanced with upper mids and highs with no sibilance or splashiness with an ok soundstage, making the sound pretty good band for your buck. The cons I have with this pair of IEM is that the shell is large and creates hot spots on the back of my concha. Rounding the IEM off where it sits in your ear would've helped with this. And then there's the usual stock throw-away cable and lack of a case. For their higher end IEM, KZ should really throw in a simple case and either their braided copper, copper-silver, or copper-gold-silver cable instead of the crappy stock cable that degrades sound.
