I bought the version with DSP, I wanna like this device but I can't ignore how it has reduced my audio quality and introduced noise. I've tried using several different power supplies including linear power supplies and 5v battery banks but the problem persists. I've also tried adjusting every setting on the device and tested it with different input and output devices and with various audio cables but I still have the same issue. The rotary encoder knob had to be hot glued on as it wouldn't stay on by itself. The rotary encoder also has debouncing issues. Turning the encoder in one direction often results in random jumps in the opposite direction. Despite the issues, If you're planning on using this device with the onboard microphone exclusively then you wont be disappointed. I'm a headphones user so this device won't be getting as much use as I planned on.

  • Otto Ritter set the auto gain control AGC to 0. i think this will help against this noise.

  • _Red Try a ground loop isolator. Even if there is no ground loop, it should at least reduce noise.
