This design is generally driven by low heat like hand warmth - I have two others which are made in the U.K. and they work from the warmth of the lighting on top of my tropical fish tank. No idea how many miles that little wheel has covered over the years. I give the wheel a flick every day I feed the fish and it goes all day and eventually stops when the lights go off on the time clock - usually around 16 hours each day. The Banggood unit cannot do this and need a lot of heat.
