I did an upgrade from a clasic soldering iron with no temprature control,and this station is perfect ,i did had to make an enclosure for it, but it was a breeze i did it from a gopro package and some wood, i think its good looking,for supply i used a charger from a laptop 18V 2.6A.I had to calibrate the temprature with a multimeter.If i find a 24V 3A charger its much better, so this is a good station diy. thank you
