They are able to handle various styles of music Very impressive sound for their size. Highs are a bit in the face. Mids are neatly detailed. Bass is lower in volume but very tight. These tiny speakers are even capable of some image staging. No distortion at higher volume levels. They look decently constructed, very well finished. I had not expected this much for this price. As I've only had these for half an hour I'm not able to say anything about durablity. So far a must-buy if you are looking for a great value-for-money speaker system for a desktop.
