Q: what is meant by the pin short with ariel when powered on may cause damage?

samo_nz they mean don't let the balance lead adapter board contact the antenna plugs as they're grounded it will short circuit your battery

Q: Are these goggles 4:3 ratio only (the description states 800x600)? Will the image be cropped when using 16:9 FPV camera's?

samo_nz it is 16:9 switchable, adds black bars top and bottom, given it's such a large FOV still looks great

Q: 16:9 native and 4:3 switchable would be good. also if they made it so you can use fatshark modules. this would definitely be the best goggles.
