when connected to sj6 legend the camera switched off and would not turn on again

i purchased this s j 6 legend but what i got does not seem to conform with any other sj 6 legend i.e. it has only 1 usb mini connector when majority sj6 legend also have a 720p output ??????????? why

after finally receiving this item i placed a battery into the unit but it turns on straight away but wont turn off unless i remove the battery should have bought a cheaper one
