This unit got delayed for me as the manufacturer ran out of stocks, but it was replaced by unit 1553840 with a small additional fee. I received the unit a lot earlier than scheduled, and it was perfect for the application I was planning it for. The 120x zoomable lens feels solid, and so does the 34MP camera with its own 5x digital zoom. The setup was easy and I was able to get usable images right away. The images were crisp and free of any distortion. This device helped me teach botany to my kids, we were able to dissect a mung bean and appreciate the different parts of a seed. An amazing value for money. I highly recommend it.

Q: does the camera have infra red mode? i can see it has an IR button

This is a bit smaller than what I initially thought it would be. Other than that this is a good, solid product. Quite sturdy for its size and the parts were perfectly machined so you do not get any wobble. I also received it earlier than expected, cannot wait to put it to use once I get my microscope kit.
