Q: English is the voice?

Scandinavia not on my unit, that has chinese voice and very very loud from a bad speaker.. there is a USB port likely for updates or FW but I can not find any info or a site that is responsible for this unit, so all that is up in the air if it can be updated or there is units with English voice packs.

Ruix Yes,if you connect to a security system based on 433MHz/1527, like any available from Digoo. Then to check the alert, just open the "Easy Security" app and check for any alert related to the configured sensor trigger related to Fire Alarm Detector. I hope this help.
